Overview
Job consists of various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
– GTAW welding process knowledge
– Thin stainless steel sheet metal pressure vessels welding experience preferred
– Aerospace experience
AWS D17.1 Certification or equivalent
– Team player
– Detail oriented
– Accurate
– Joins, fabricates, repairs stainless steel metal material by applying GTAW welding techniques
– Interprets and follows SAFRAN OIL SYSTEMS drawings or blueprints, Manufacturing Process Plan and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
– Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
– Works with supervisor to strive for continuous improvements of processes
– May Assist in training of Welder Level I
