Great opportunity! We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Welder – TIG/MIG

Mon – Fri 7:30 AM – 4 PM
40 hours per week

Benefits after 3 months probationary period

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Ensure compliance with welding procedures, company policy, safety standards & quality standards
  • Lays out, fits, and welds components to assemble structural forms, such as frames, tanks, pressure vessels, shells, and pans, according to blueprints and knowledge of welding
  • May require the use of rolling, bending and flanging equipment and/or tools
  • Fit and weld stainless-steel components
  • Inspect your work for high accuracy and quality with attention to detail
  • Participate in company cross-training program (as trainee and trainer), for all units and equipment as required
  • Commit to and participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
  • Will demonstrate, promote and exemplify the company’s core values in safety, people, quality and growth
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, Vocational or technical training
  • Minimum 3 years specialized experience in a custom fabrication environment
  • GTAW (TIG) experience of 3 years or more of mild and stainless steels required
  • GMAW (MIG) experience of mild and stainless steels.
  • Welding experience with flux core, MIG, TIG including the ability to fabricate stainless steel structures from drawings or sketches
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications and weld symbol interpretation required
  • Ability to use spot-welding equipment
  • Pressure vessel experience required
  • Applicants must have a positive attitude; possess good organization and communication skills
  • Must have problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong English language comprehension
  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time

Physical Demands and Requirement

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions Notations

  • Able to work on weekends as required
