The Role

The Welder is responsible for welding of variety of equipment and product used by customers across North America.

§ Afternoon Shift: 10-hour schedule, Monday to Thursday (3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.)

What You Will Do

Specific Responsibilities:

· Review traveler/job package

· Gather parts, tools, and fixtures

· Maintain and repair equipment

· TG and Micro tube welding

· Brazing

· Oxy-fuel welding

· Complete QC checklists to verify the quality of the product manufactured meets standards

· Ensure parts are free of visible damage

· Continuously improve work processes and methods

· Follow all safety laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge & Qualifications

· Knowledge of oxy-acetylene torch, plasma cutter and angle grinder and various other cutting and buffing tools

· CWB TIG Carbon steel, Stainless, Aluminum flat position

· CWB MIG Carbon steel flat position

· TSSA 2” steel pipe with stik

· TSSA open root MIG steel horizontal, vertical and overhead

– Pressure Vessel experience

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Minimum five (5) years of experience TIG essential, Micro tube welding with TIG preferred

· Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints

· Exceptional attention to detail and quality – a craftperson

· Ability to perform in a high-volume, results-focused work environment

· Ability to perform work from a standing position
