Welder/Torchman

Delsan-AIM is looking for an experience Torchman/Welder to work in the growing industry of demolition. We offer a working environment in which safety is a top priority with great pay and benefits. Qualified individuals will become members of the Labours International Union of North America.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Properly set up Torchset with fuel & Oxygen supplies

· Cut Steel on ground level of at heights.

· Operation of Elevated Work Platforms an assets

· Welding of demolition attachments an asset

· Comfortable working outdoors in all CLIMATES

· Welding License is considered an asset and preference will be given to candidates who have their welding ticket

· Extensive knowledge of various welding techniques

· Experience with machinery, hand tools, and lifting devices

· Steel industry experience is considered an asset

· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada – Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status

· Punctual, Dependable, and Reliable

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Works in a timely manner ensuring high standards of quality are achieved and maintained

· Providing support as required to other trades personnel

· Assist with the repair and preventative maintenance on equipment, tools and machinery

· Clean work areas
