Overview
Summit Trailer is growing and we have a position available for a qualified welder. The successful candidate will be one who is looking to continue their career in the welding trade, as well as their apprenticeship with Summit Trailer.
Responsibilities:
- Truck builder/chassis modifications including dump truck, log rigging, roll off, wet kits etc.
- Complete welding repairs on new and used trailers
- Install accessories and modifications to trailers
- Setting up and using band saw for cutting of material
- Setting up and using of drill press and iron worker for the purpose of building parts to be used by the shop
- Prepping and completing welding jobs in the shop
- Welding and fabrication of parts
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3rd year welding apprentice.
- Fitting experience
- Ability to follow instructions and can read a basic measurement drawing.
- Must supply their own tools
