Overview

Garaventa Lift, a leading accessibility manufacturer has a position for a welder trainee. We are looking for enthusiastic people who would like to learn to weld & work in a fab shop. The goal will be to train employees to give them the ability to get certified as CWB welders.

Duties:
Operating manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, plasma cutting equipment, brazing equipment, and MIG welding.

Read & interpret welding drawings, specifications, manuals, and work instructions for an asset.

Qualifications:
Experience working in a shop environment.

Ability to lift heavy parts when required.

Available for shift work.
