Jasper Tank custom manufactures truck and trailer-mount tanks. We are a leader in tank manufacturing in North America with a reputation for quality for over 60 years.
We are looking for Aluminum Stainless and Mild Steel welders for our Acheson, Alberta location. This is long term work with no travel.
- Experience in tank manufacturing is an asset
- Minimum: 1st period apprentice or 2nd period apprentice is required
- Post-secondary training form a recognized technical program
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work, Public Transit is not available
Responsibilities
- New fabrication of Aluminum and stainless steel tanks.
- Custom fabrication
- Weld in areas with confined space entry
- Job task planning and organizing
- Following required safety protocols
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Brake and Shear
Skills and Abilities
- Able to weld stainless steel, aluminum alloys
- MIG welding experience is required
- Able to lift 13.5 kg (30 lbs.)
- Able to perform physically demanding repetitive tasks
- Possesses manual dexterity and good hand eye coordination
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to communicate in a team environment
- Problem solving, critical thinking and decision making
- Brake and Shear Experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
