Overview
Highwood Machine Tool fabricates and manufacturers custom equipment and machinery for a diverse group of industries. As a fabricator at Highwood, you will be responsible for the following:
– Review customer supplied drawings to effectively and efficiently fit and weld components.
– Ability to work with or lead a small group of peers to complete tasks safe, timely and meet quality requirements.
– The applicant must have pertinent fitting experience and will be required to pass a test prior to employment.
– Operate basic hand tools and necessary equipment.
– Use standard measuring equipment to ensure parts meet our quality requirements.
– FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding processes.
– Assist with regular shop duties as required.
– Candidate is expected to be punctual and reliable regarding attendance.
– Follow Highwood’s quality and safety programs diligently.
Entry level junior welder $20/hr
Senior Welder/fitter up to $27/hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
