Welders Helper / Assembler
Manus Abrasive Systems Inc. is a Canadian company in business since 1983. In 2020 we became part of Allredi Blast and Abrasives and are the leading Canadian manufacturer and supplier of abrasive blast equipment and related supplies. We have branches in Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Mississauga. We are proud manufacturers of Mod-U-Blast Abrasive Blast equipment.
We are currently recruiting a permanent, full-time Welders Helper / Assembler for our Edmonton manufacturing branch.
NOTE: MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION – THERE ARE NO BUS ROUTES CLOSE TO OUR LOCATION
Responsibilities:
– Cutting & fitting metal
– Mig welding experience an asset (will train the right person)
– Media Blast parts and steel components
– Assembly of abrasive blast equipment and parts.
– Assembly of sub-assemblies used in manufacture of equipment.
– Clean work areas and equipment.
Qualifications:
– Able to read a tape measure – definite must.
– Mechanically inclined.
– Work well with others or independently.
– Attention to detail.
– Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
– Reliable and punctual.
– Able to speak, read, and write English.
