Overview
UNLIMITED CONSTRUCTION LLC is looking for Certified Welders to work in its Morgan City, Louisiana, shop.
Job Description (including but not limited to):
- Take precise measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Cut, assemble, fabricate and join structural steel, plate and other metals.
- Weld, drill, punch and grind metals using MIG, gas and arc welding equipment in various positions (horizontal, vertical and overhead).
- Set up and maintain equipment.
- Must work safely and with efficiency while producing quality work.
Qualifications
- Current AWS certifications.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Skill and knowledge of safety and PPE requirements.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination.
- Position may involve prolonged periods of standing, bending, crawling, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching and walking.
- Ability to read shop drawings a plus.
- Working knowledge of simple math, reading and writing English.
- Highly dependable and drug-free.
