ARIS is an introductory seminar providing a brief overview of the demands and responsibilities for anyone considering a career in the trades. Topics include trade descriptions, apprenticeship options, employment requirements, jobsite expectations, and the advantages to belonging to a skilled trade Union.

Upcoming Dates: February 8th, 2022, March 1st, 2022 & March 3rd, 2022

Location: 15330 – 114th Avenue, Edmonton, AB

Time: Doors open at 4:30 PM, Seminar Starts at 5:00 PM

Please bring your government issued Photo I.D., Social Insurance Card (SIN) and contact information for personal and work references.

To be eligible for employment, you must be able to:

  • work in a physically demanding environment
  • follow direction
  • work under pressure
  • communicate well, both verbally and written, in the English language
  • work collaboratively in a team environment
  • travel around Alberta including Fort McMurray for employment

Candidates must be:

  • 17 years or older
  • A Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

After registering, you will receive a link to a free study guide to help prepare you for the Essential Skills Assessment (ESA) which will be scheduled after the Seminar.

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
