Overview

Toyotetsu Canada Inc. (TTCA) is a Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier to Toyota Manufacturing Facilities located in the heart of Norfolk County. We utilize state of the art technology to ensure our automotive parts are assembled with a high degree of quality.

We are currently recruiting a Welding Group Leader to join our team. This position reports directly to the Assistant Manager of Welding.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review production schedule to ensure manufacturing of product(s) is completed and scheduled delivery dates are met.
  • Plan and review production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
  • Utilize the appropriate personnel based on skill set.
  • Evaluate, develop and ensure appropriate training processes are completed when employees move to different jobs.
  • Ensure safety and quality requirements and procedures for the area are understood and met
  • Provide assistance to team members in solving problems/concerns that affect their performance
  • Develop and coordinate cost reduction activities to achieve yearly targets.
  • Monitor and make adjustments to meet expectations for quality, productivity, 5S and safety.

Education/Experience Desired:

  • Strong technical skills (manufacturing and mechanical)

  • Minimum three years manufacturing experience
