Northern Lights College is seeking a temporary, full-time instructor to be responsible for the delivery of a pilot program, funded through the BC ITA, for welding and fabrication. Upon successful completion of this program, students will leave with their Level One in both Metal Fabricating and in Welding.
Northern Lights College is seeking a temporary, full-time instructor to be responsible for the delivery of a pilot program, funded through the BC ITA, for welding and fabrication. Upon successful completion of this program, students will leave with their Level One in both Metal Fabricating and in Welding.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold the Red Seal certification in both Metal Fabricating and in Welding, however consideration is given to those who have the Red Seal in Welding and are currently working towards achieving their certification in Fabrication. Candidates should have acquired a minimum of 5 years of field experience, and also have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, and outlook). Experience in teaching others or currently holding, or enrolled, in the Provincial Instructor Diploma program would be an asset. A valid BC Driver’s License is required.
