Our products include radiators, air charge coolers, and oil and gas coolers for a variety of markets including: petroleum, mining, forestry, construction, agriculture, power generation, and transportation industries. Essential Qualifications:

  • Technical welding knowledge, training and experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating brake press and fabrication is an asset.
  • Ability to interpret blue prints and shop drawings.
  • Understanding fractions and decimals.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Communication skills (English – written and verbal).
  • Physically fit.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, WHMIS.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts pre-shift inspection of the equipment and tools.
  • Reports deficiencies to the production supervisor.
  • Operates equipment in a safe manner.
  • Operates band saw, drill press.
  • Cuts metal, pipes, bending, threading and tapping.
  • Maintains and performs minor repairs to the equipment.
  • Cleans the equipment and working surfaces.
  • Maintains daily production requirements and ensures quality of products by checking for correct dimensions and other specifications.
  • Operates forklift and overhead crane.
  • Unloads trucks.
  • Prepares production reports as required.
  • Recommends measures to improve productivity and product quality to the supervisor.
  • Adheres to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Welds with minimum supervision.
  • Requires to cross-train.
  • Any other duties as required by management from time to time.
