Overview
Roswell Downhole Technologies located in Calgary, AB (Division of Precision ADM) is currently hiring for a Welding Process Engineer to compliment the team.
Responsibilities:
Planning, validation, control, and assurance of product and process quality;
Developing and implementing product and process testing and measuring programs;
Planning and Managing testing activities. Ensure effective communication regarding results, actions, and closure of such activities;
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; identifying issues and recommending actions to be taken;
Planning, controlling, and assuring product and process quality across a manufacturing process in accordance with quality principles, which include planning, validation, material control, acceptance sampling, measurement, analysis, and improvement;
Maintaining quality documentation and information systems related to the projects and the Quality Management System;
Performing supplier qualification and certification;
Participating in manufacturing risk analysis and design reviews;
Assisting in internal and external quality audits, corrective, and preventive actions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 Years in Quality Engineering position(s) or more than 7 years of advance experience in Quality Assurance and Control in a manufacturing environment;
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent ;
Understanding of quality management systems and their development, documentation, and implementation to domestic and international standards or requirements;
Understanding of problem solving and quality improvement tools and techniques;
Understanding of Statistical tools;
Understanding of good manufacturing practices;
Familiar with Health Canada and FDA regulations is an asset;
High attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment are essential Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Proficient in Minitab (or similar) and CAD programs is an asset.
