Overview

We are a busy ASME Vessel, pipe and structural steel fabrication shop located in beautiful Squamish BC. We have an immediate need for a Welding QC Manager. The ideal candidate would be a welding engineer / technologist with at least 5 years of experience managing quality for ASME vessels, pressure piping and structural steel. The candidate will be a CWB level II or level III certified welding inspector with endorsements for ASME B31.3, ASME VIII and CSA W 59 or ASME D1.1. Detailed knowledge of WPS, PQR, WPQ, ITP’s and NDE (UT,MT,PT,RT) is required.

Must be well versed in the ASME and CSA codes of construction and able to interface with customer inspectors as well as TSBC and ASME.

We offer a 4 day work week located in the recreational capital of Canada 45 minutes from Vancouver.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
