Overview
Looking for a helper/labourer with experience to work alongside a welder fabricator. Individuals that have experience working with care and working safely on site is extremely important. Applicants must have experience working inside a welding environment or steel fabrication shop. Someone interested in the trade of welding or interested in becoming a welding apprentice is strongly desired. If you have a hold a WHMIS or any other safety certification, please state this.
Must have experience:
– measuring materials with a standard measuring tape;
– using hand-operated power tools including angle grinding, sanding, cutting and drilling; and
– comfortably and safely lifting up to 50-75lbs.
Responsibilities:
– Working with hand-operated power tools to complete tasks.
– Measuring and cutting steel with a horizontal band saw.
