Novatek Welding and Fabrication is a well-established premium Welding and Fabrication company located in Cambridge Ontario. Our capabilities include Machining, Welding, Laser Cutting, Custom Forming and Laser Etching.

Currently we have an opening for a unique individual to complement our team. The ideal candidate will be multi-talented to help lead our team into the future.

We’re looking for a highly organized, motivated and methodical professional to become part of a team with the desire to succeed.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Overseeing the operations of the entire production area with primary responsibility of the weld shop
  • Maintaining the production schedule and quality expectations of our customers.
  • Maintaining CWB Certification requirements.
  • Working with the shop floor supervisor with any employee concerns.
  • Work with employees on expectations including disciplinary measures if required
  • Maintain all safety aspects of the production area including safety walks, safety talks and safety training.
  • Determining manpower requirements and overtime if necessary to meet schedule
  • Working with management to determine growth strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • CWB 47.1 Weld Supervisor Certification
  • CWB 47.2 Weld Supervisor Certification and asset
  • 2+ years as a weld supervisor in a small – medium size metal fabrication shop.

  • Welding: 2 years (required)
