We are looking for welders with beginner to intermediate skill level for a large manufacturing company in the Bryan-College Station area. PREFERRED: experience in construction, manufacturing or fabricating fields.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the GMAW /MIG, GTAW/TIG processes of aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel
- Troubleshoot and repair problems with machinery to ensure everything is in working order
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Keep up with accurate inventory
- Ensures cost-effective usage of all equipment, supplies and tools
- Maintain all company policies, standards and SOPs
Skills:
- Able to lift and carry 25 pounds unassisted regularly
- Able to read blueprints and plan ahead
- Willingness to travel
- Able to operate a forklift
- Willing to operate a grinder, metabo and stationary saws, and basic hand tools
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Or GED equivalent
- Experience in construction, manufacturing and fabrication preferred
