EDUCATION/SKILLS:• Associates Degree in Technology or five (5) years experience • wide variety of welding skills• ability to travel on short notice for extended periods• self motivated with high level of initiative• ability to work with minimal supervision• problem solving and decision making skills• excellent written and verbal communication skillsRESPONSIBILITIES:All duties of Welding Tech with additional responsibilities in the areas of:• assist Weld Service Coordinators and Project Managers by managing activities on a single assigned project• communication with all levels of management and engineering • identify and resolve project risks and obstacles• meet assigned project timelines• facilitate maintenance of equipment through coordination with logistics, quality and maintenance personnel• other duties as assignedRequirementsPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
