Connext Staffing – Is recruiting for Door, Window and Glass Fabricators/General Labourers and Machine Operators

Essential functions for this role are: Door Fabricator
- Review set-up sheets and drawings to complete machined parts/ Load tools and perform set-ups for the completion of a job / Take accurate measurements and make adjustments to produce precision parts
- Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain consistency and identify issues / Perform daily maintenance on the machine
Essential functions for this role are: Glass Fabricator
- Hand glass to prep for the oven / Optimize and cut glass / Cut laminate glass from pattern / operate a tempering oven, drill press, glass washer
- Buff scratches on glass with either a hand operated air gun or a glass buffing machine / Maintains machinery
Essential functions for this role are: Windows Fabricator
- Analyze blueprints and engineered drawings to assess materials needed and plan the sequence of tasks to fabricate products.
- Operate light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills, and a variety of saws / Construct fabricated components to create the final product/ Monitor quality of fabrication

- Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals an asset not a requirement
- Able to read a tape measure
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
- Proven ability to work well under minimal supervision, able to take direction and follow through
- Strong organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
