Overview
Trinity Underground is a local grading, paving and site utilities company looking to add a Journeyman Underground Pipe Layer to our team. Applicant must be able to proficiently install all types of pipe for wet utilities including storm drains, sanitary sewer, water, and fire if needed.
This positions will provide duties that include but are not limited to the following:
· Construct, install, and maintain piping systems, appurtenances, and equipment for underground wet utilities
· Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling; All Work is performed within trenches
· Work on trade specific layouts and installation of pipe fittings and materials.
· Read & interpret trade specific blueprints, submittals, structural and mechanical plans.
· Work on trade specific residential and commercial sites
· Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition while following all safety regulations and guidelines.
· Proper use of all personal protection equipment and safety equipment
· Ability to tack weld, and use hand and power tools
· Dig around underground utility pipelines with hand tools
· Load and unload equipment and materials * Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in underground utilities, with closely related responsibilities
- Must have all tools required to perform your job
- Must be able to lift or carry repeatedly supplies, materials, and tools required to perform your scope of work
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must live in the Phoenix Metro area at time of application submission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
